I was born and raised in the Southern California, and grew up in Hermosa Beach. I’ve thought for most of my life that I was born in the wrong area. Since the time that my parents first took me camping in Kings Canyon National Park at 11 years old, I knew I was destined to live in the forest. I moved to the beautiful State of Washington in 2009 and have never looked back.

I’ve drawn for most of my adult life, on and off, primarily people. The thought of capturing a face on paper is exhilarating to me. I took up painting later in life, taking classes at Otis Art Institute and Lower Columbia College. I am a work in progress.

My ideal life would be to wake up every morning and truly appreciate and enjoy my life. I would love to create works of art that I could be proud of, work with nature and watch my garden reinvent itself each year, and give back for the wonderful life I've been given through my charity work.   I am truly thankful for my family, friends and every opportunity I have been given.  I’m learning and daring myself to embrace the unexpected.  I wish to remain forever hopeful.
